Google August 2024 Core Update Impact Poll

Last week, a reader of SEOroundtable asked if they would poll the public to see how the most recent Google search algorithm update, the August 2024 core update, affected them. So they encouraged readers to conduct a poll on their website or on X to see how SEOs in general were affected by this basic upgrade.

They asked readers to compare their traffic before and after August 15th (the date the core change was revealed) to determine if their traffic and search rankings had improved or decreased. The upgrade is currently around two weeks in, with another two weeks to go for the distribution. So, yeah, things could change.

We should point you that users have noticed even more changes at WebmasterWorld in the last 24 hours, indicating that things are continually changing. The monitoring tools have also been extremely crazy in the last few weeks.
